Project Supervisor – St. John’s

Compensation: $28 – $32/ hour (full-time / permanent)

Construction/Restoration Supervisor ..or as we call it at On Side, Project Supervisor!

Project Supervisors work directly with multiple Project Managers to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of projects. Supervising operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Project Supervisor is always on the move. With their extensive construction/restoration experience, strong organizational abilities and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Project Supervisor is key to On Side’s success.

Project Supervisors are responsible for:

• Commercial and residential rebuild/restoration experience
• Knowledge in commercial focus: dealing with permits and city representatives
• Knowledge of building materials and schedule of timeline to complete tasks
• Weekly Fleet Checks
• Site Safety Inspections
• Leadership and Coaching Field Staff
• Monitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Documentation of site visits and job progress
• Working on the tools when required

What you bring:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Construction related experience, specifically finish carpentry skills
• Knowing building materials- what to use and when
• Commercial and residential experience – renovation/restoration vs new build
• Carpentry experience and excellence
• Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork and being able to help on the tools
• Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)

Other stuff that’ll help you be successful:

• Skilled trade(s) or IICRC certificates
• Knowledge of basic drying concepts and drying equipment usage
• Standard First Aid certification
• Physically fit

Disasters can strike at any time so occasional on-call work may be required.
