IT Governance Specialist

Compensation: $65,000 – $95,000 / year (full-time/permanent)

On Side Restoration is seeking a driven and experienced IT Governance Specialist to champion best practices and ensure our IT resources are aligned with our critical business objectives. In this hybrid role, you’ll develop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks and policies, playing a key part in protecting our operations and enabling our continued success. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT processes and systems.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals.
• Monitor and report on IT governance metrics and performance indicators.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on IT governance best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to IT operations and projects.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IT governance.

 Work location:

• This hybrid position can be based in any city with an On Side branch, with a mix of remote and in-office work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, compliance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 38500).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CGEIT, CRISC) are a plus.
• Experience in Agile workplace would be an asset
• Demonstrates unwavering integrity in adhering to compliance guidelines and possesses the ability to exercise precise and sound judgment based on those standards.
