Dispatcher – Hamilton

Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000/year (full-time/permanent)

The Job – Dispatcher

Dispatchers play an integral role in keeping customer satisfaction high by maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor while dispatching On Side Restoration crews to jobs in a timely manner. Knowing who to call, when to call them and what the steps are in the restoration process is all just a regular part of being a Dispatcher.

Dispatchers are responsible for:

• Dispatching crews to save the day when disasters hit.
• Understanding scope of work and skills needed on a job site.
• Scheduling work with property owners.
• Managing sub-trade schedules.
• Managing crew mix and on-call availability.
• Operational and administrative support as needed.

What you bring:

• Superior customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people.
• Unparalleled organizational skills.
• Conscientiousness, never leaving a task before it’s complete.
• Curiosity, you’re always asking questions and want to know the rest of the story.
• Excellent phone and computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel and Teams familiarity is a must).

Of Note

Disasters can strike at any time and the ability to work outside of regular hours and or contribute to after hours on-call work is a requirement.
